Institutional Review Board Information

Research that is conducted on the Indiana University Purdue University of Indianapolis campus must be approved by the IUPUI Institutional Review Board before initiating the study.  Click here for information about the IUPUI Institutional Review Board submission requirements or contact the IRB office at 317-274-8289 for more information.

For research being conducted at the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, you must have VA Research and Development (R&D) Committee approval before initiating the study within the medical center.  Submission to the VA R&D Committee can occur at anytime in relation to the IRB review, however, the R&D Committee will not give final approval until approval has been received from the IUPUI IRB.  Click here to download the required VA R&D submission forms or contact Peggy Hannon at 317-988-3202 for more information.
